Class Levels:
(Please scrall down to all levels and notice we offer
these different levels at different locations! So you must first decide
which level you need, and then go back to the schedule to see which
day of the week is being offered and at which location)
Novice-Beginners Level 0-1
You learn the basic, the right turn,
the cross body lead and you will be introduced to the back break or
open break as well as basic music timing. Your basic foundation.
These are the 4 feet patterns that you will need to learn and eventually
master in order to be able to lead and follow any fancy combinations
in the future.
Advanced-Beginners Level 2
(This is a short but very important transition time between
level 1 & 3 to build in your "feet confidence" and muscle
memory through repetition, repetition, repetition)
This class is for those of you who have learned the basics
and need to really put it to practice. Here we do the basic, right
and left turn, cross body lead and the back break over and over until
you can do it in your sleep. It is a very necessary component
to being able to focus in your arms for the more flashy combinations.
You perfect and apply all the above basics and learn to lead and follow
the back or open break.
Intermediates Level 3
You master all of the above, applying all your basic feet patterns
into fancy combinations with a medium level of complexity on the arms
as you lead and follow. Ladies you get to really focus on your styling
and everybody works on proper spinning technique (singles and doubles).
Everyone masters spinning technique to the best of their ability including
spotting and multiple turns. You must know your basics to attend
this classes. Musical timing is re-enforced throughout the combination
as we make sure you understand the perfect timing as a leader or follower.
I teach a different small
combination every week so we always welcome drops in.

Intermediate-Adv. Level 4
This is a 4 weeks series class. You learn complex combinations
that are also technically dificult for an advanced look We assemble
all of it into a mini routine so that you can execute, lead and show
it off in the dance floor without worrying about... what do I do next?
Ladies work on Styling and proper following technique. Everyone masters
spinning technique to the best of their ability including spotting and
multiple turns. We always review the material from week number one onto
the fourth week. This class is a "performance
oriented class" though it is not necessary or mandatory that you
actually perform. The purpose is to really work that hard
at looking your very best.
This is a "mini routine" class format. The purpose of this
class is to teach the ladies how to follow on time, execute excellent
technique. Ladies will learn and apply Ladies Los Angeles Styling
into their muscle memory. The gentlemen learn how to lead advanced combinations,
smoothly and on time. Every week we add on new material as well
as we keep reviewing the previous patterns. The idea is to repeat
the material of the previous week in order to memorize the combinations.
It Is an "add on method". The end result you memorize how
to lead a series of combinations with the form of a mini routine that
you can take out to any night club and perform at ease.
You must have taken Intermediate classes with
Isabelle or another teacher to take this series.
