BIOGRAPHY
Isabelle, A dancer at heart
Isabelle was born a dancer at heart and dedicated her entire
life to dancing, since the age of 4 years old. She specializes
in Salsa Los Angeles Style, her own Argentine Tango, and
her
newest acquisition Pole Dancing. Isabelle is a Master Instructor,
Performer, and International Workshop Presenter,
SAG Choreographer
and is also pursuing a career in acting. Isabelle lives and
works in Santa Monica where, she is known as IsabelleSalsa,
“The Rhythm Specialist”.
Isabelle is the owner, founder and director of Isabelle’s
Dance Academy, where herself and a team of dance instructors
conduct beginner to advanced salsa, tango and pole dancing
workshops. Isabelle also is a Staff
Instructor for Santa
Monica College, Community Services as she really likes giving
back to her community. Back in the years of being a Fitness
Celebrity, Isabelle used to teach at the most prestigious
Fitness
Clubs in Los Angeles, including Spectrum Pacific Palisades
and The Sports Club L.A. Now her own studio in Santa Monica
keeps her plenty busy but she still consults with the Fitness
industry as a dance trainer.
A life long passion with dance, which includes Ballet, Tap,
and Jazz, was what brought Isabelle to Los Angeles, from her
hometown of Buenos Aires, in Argentina.
It was here in Los Angeles, that Isabelle mastered her fitness
career as an Aerobics Instructor becoming a Master Instructor
of Aerobics teachers and an International "celebrity
fitness representative" for the Aerobics and Fitness
Association of America (AFAA).
As a highly respected International AFAA Certified Master
aerobics/fitness instructor for dance and fitness professionals,
Isabelle has developed and coached thousands of instructors
since 1989. Isabelle was invited to share her expertise and
teach other fitness instructors, at the most prestigious international
fitness conventions including IDEA, representing AFAA as one
of their leader's trainer and certifier for aerobics and fitness
instructors all throughout Latin America. Isabelle is also
a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. She employs
her broad and in-depth experience as the foundation of her
unique teaching methodology.
It was in Panama, in one of these trips that Isabelle met
and fell in love head over hills with Salsa dancing and that
is when she decided to start up a new venue or branch in her
career applying all her "know how" from being a
master instructor to aerobics instructors to this passionate
sexy dance. She guides her clients through a unique and easy
to follow method of teaching, focusing on rhythm as she breaks
down the fundamentals of leading and following applying her
self developed and successful "dancing rules". Teaching
is what Isabelle knows what to do best!
As a Professional Salsa Dancer she ‘turns up the heat’
appearing in Television commercials and in film. Isabelle
has choreographed dance segments for several TV shows such
as “Resurrection Blvd”, "Tail daters from
MTV", Six Feet Under, among others. Isabelle also travels
around teaching Nationally and Internationally in Salsa Dancing
Events, Congresses, and Cruise Lines. . Having serviced the
Norwegian Cruise Line for the past 2 years, Isabelle is now
supporting the team that will be teaching at events and workshops
for the company at different locations around the world.

She also forms part of the Instructor team for Salsa Extravaganza
Salsa summer and winter camps in Palms Springs organized
by
Jay and Molly from http://www.peoplewhodance.net In this
camp, they organize Jack and Jill Professional contest, which
means "true lead and follow are put through the test,
because you don't know who your partner will be, until the
last minute. Isabelle with Miguel Aguirre won second place
in the Salsa Dance Professional contest in the Summer 2003.
