Now, settled again in L.A from my home town. Buenos Aires, The Capital of T ango, I'm T rying to share my passion & new learned T echniques with you. Now, T eaching my T ango T alent with a Capital T as in T ango. Okay..now back to the info :)
We are now inviting, ALL LEVEL 1 Tango Students to join us for class on Fridays, either to learn from scratch or to review our basics...and our technique.
The beauty about Fridays is that now you can stay for our social tango "guided" practica.
Anybody and everybody can drop in for the class and practica for an all inclusive price of $20.00 per week.
A great deal, for an hour and a half class, a social practice-hang out and Free Wine-Beer and Parking for a hot passionate Friday Tango- Nights.
Starting this Friday, all levels welcome and certainly no need for a partner . This is the place to come and be to find a partner who is exactly on the same boat as you are. Ha!

This evening class, from 7:30pm to 9:00pm is the perfect way to get ready for the super special Tango Workshop coming up... No partner required to attend
This class will cover the foundational steps of Argentine Tango.
You will learn your basic moves like your walk and the actual basic structure. We also cover the back and front "ochos" or figure 8's. and the half turn.
If you have never had Tango before or if you just want a refresher course, this is a great class for you!

You get to practice a bit of Tango, Tango-Valz in a "real milonga setting" which is the places where people go to dance tango once they really know what they are doing.
In our studio we do the exact same, but we all learn to dance in the "Milonga line of dance" without bumping into the the other dancers while we remember how to do our patterns. Nice!

Hope you are well. I am back in L.A and ready to Tango! Do keep in mind, that you can always at 9:00pm for a social tango practice to re visit all your moves. This is for you. All levels super welcome. The whole point is to practice with someone there who is exactly on the same boat than you and needs you to practice with.
This tango social practica will be run like a real "Milonga setting", so you can get used to practicing your moves around other people in the safety set up of a practica where everyone is learning the same.
Those of you who are planning to attend class tonight from 7:30-9:00pm for 5 weeks series, please go ahead and take a minute to pre-register and commit to the 5 Fridays (Class and/or practice) . Can't make it to class at 7:30pm/?. Ningun Problema! No problem then Join us later, for our nice social from 9:00pm till about 11:30pm with free wine, beer, tango, Valz and a true milonga setting to practice the real life scenario out there. I even bought music with the "tandas" and curtains..NIce!
So I hope to see you all there, to enjoy our tango vice!
Humberto might be joining on our 3rd week as he has to work in Chicago first. Also to be able to pay him we need a full class, so this is another incentive for you to sign up.

Please come on Fridays if you know your basics, and back and front ochos so we can move on to more advanced things. I will ask all students on Fridays to demonstrate they know their basics to be able to offer a true Level 2 Series.
Those of you who need to learn the basics or re-fresh your commands and following skills, your walk, posture, embrace, framing, the back and forward ochos, you can still come to my beginner tango class at SMC.

You will be charmed and seduced into tango dancing as we have now added the colorful lights for ambience, and the great music for enjoyment. Stay on top of your Tango!
Tango is wonderful and passionate. Tango is not the easiest dance to learn. It takes two to tango and it definitely takes at least one session at level 1 to attempt to take level 2. As a matter of fact, if you have not been practicing your basics for a while, you are much better of, doing level 1 again and being the best in the class.
In order to take the level 2 class, you will have to show us that you can lead, your basic, and the back and front ochos, which is the curriculum we need to show more advanced moves. No partner required to attend
The beauty of this set up is that, if you forgot your basics, we have a level 1 class going on at the same time for you to review them.
I would like you to pre sign up in my website for both groups and follow the instructions in my Tango page.
